Heh,heh. So, sorry if this offends anyone, but I had to go to the theme parks today for a survey and am always reminded of how obese people are and how you will always see them riding one of these. While I think it may be appropriate for a moo-moo or hawaiian shirt at this point I really wanted to see some folds and wrinkles in this beast. I added the "Uncle Rico" mustache cause that always get a chuckle outta me. Was trying to figure out a way to incorporate those birds you always see sitting on them........

I have an 8 1/2 x 11 notepad that I take to my meetings each week here at work. I take notes in the top left hand corner which takes up about 4 inches. The rest is filled with sketches. I am paying attention though--promise..............

Ok, so I thought I would show today the very start of a new painting I'm doing of this cute kid of one of my friends. I start off with a loose sketch in pencil and try to figure out where my lights and shadows will end up. From here it usually goes from me out-lining in paint and then totally screwing it up in color and then fighting my way back to a finish piece that hopefully we all can enjoy. I'll try to keep my progress so I can show the process when I'm finished. Sorry for the crappy picture, the lights not the best.
